Forcing the players to play both rounds would be pathetic if they had a genuine reason to leave. When someone quits consistently after attacking (as in this case), it's pretty clear they don't have anywhere else to be, they just want to play their preferred round only. If they can't handle that AS has both attack and defense rounds, they can find another gametype.
If you choose to take any action which knowingly results in unbalancing the game or inconveniencing someone else without good excuse, regardless of your primary intent, you are actively ruining the game.
If players have the ability to switch at the beginning of a game, and don't, then yes, we are agreed that this is equally ridiculous. Usually a switch can only be made if the player is on Red.

The server is public and open to everyone, therefore people join to have fun primarilly. But then "being bored" by smth remains legitimate reason to leave.
