Would it take much effort to make it so you cant swap team in the first 2 minutes?
As a new map is loaded, certain people will try to join the same team and it just makes the games stacked.

And if the game is stacked from the beginning, how do you do then to even the teams? The match is almost decided from the beginning, not when everything is lost :/

The problem is that for AS, balancing is quite hard to do and in many cases you can't tell if the teams are balanced or not. However there are punishments for players that are stacking the teams intentionally.

A way of autobalancing would actually be to "categorize" the players (via guid or whatever)..
this might sound a bit weird since you can't actually tell how good a player really is, but lets face it.. there are some regulars who play very good and others who don't.
the idea would be to give certain players a special amount of "teampoint".
e.g. (no offenses here.. just as an example)
Izumo - 3
Takeo - 2
b0n0 - 3
Meep - 2
Socio - 2
people without an entry will be treated with one point. the autobalancer now tries to sort the players the way that the points are even and people with same amounts of points are splitted as equal as possible.
the points would be either given by the admins or every person could set his own "dificulty" (while the second method includes the risk of some people seeing themselves as powerful eventhough they suck..)

Won't work. The stack is on too many levels (aka "noob stack", where lesser noobs are on one team and bigger noobs are on another), this has to be purely automatic.
