Derp, why don't you bid in ebay (dont bid more than you wanna spend), you might get an old pc with some nice specs for some 50 usd including shipping ... when I lived in the states I went to the "electronic dump" (where people leave electic/ electronic devices they dont use), and there you were able to find old desktops and pcs that were outdated and nobody wanted. But with them I was able to fix some nice pcs with nice specs. I sold a couple of them too ...
