i have been a member for a while and realize that many the people on this server are from europe, but i have one stupid question.
do you all say your dates like this day/month/year
because i am accustomed to month/day/year
it is just confusing
i know this post will make me look stupid so dont tell me about it

yes. generally spoken in europe we have the dd/mm/yy format.
each country has its own format which you can read about here:

11-05-11 it's may 11th or nov 5th
using nov instead 11 makes it easier for all of us
@ forum u can change it (if u don't have already) the whatever time/date format u like @ UCP -> Board preferences -> My date format:
