XM300 Dragon Nanoblade

Post by Calypto » Sun 08 Sep , 2013 9:42 pm

The alt fire of this weapon is too effective. If you do not have an aim good enough to use the primary, then you use the alt fire instead, which swings twice in case you miss the first time. The problem with this is that it has a primary and a secondary which are both extremely effective for being one weapon; alt fire if the target is moving, primary if the target isn't.

Instead, the weapon should be just primary fire, alt fire would be melee block.

No need to use the secondary, the primary is 1 hit 1 kill. Btw no need to use any other melee to attack, just this one is enough...

It's 140 damage for one hit which is guaranteed, the second if you are feeling lucky. In most cases, 140 is more than enough, and they usually have an easy sidearm ready to finish you off such as the XK2.

press alt fire button, and kill with either the going swing, the coming swing or both. :).... LOL In the stats seem 140 dmg sec & 222 dmg primary, half the fire rate sec. Secondary seems to have same arc, less damage and double speed. Range is the highest within all melee.

So basically;

Primary: High damage, oneshot unless boost, low arc, single swipe.
Secondary: Medium-high damage, will often oneshot, two swipes, more overall damage.

Doesn't seem that overpowered on paper.
