This is not a glitch. It is a feature. trollface

You can do the same on maps with these same fences, using tanks (Hellbender Race, can shoot enemy vehicles with complete immunity) and also twin beams.

Have fun going through every map that uses this type of fence mesh. Or any thin wall for that matter. (Pyra green shit spam anyone? troll2 )

I didn't say to fix them all at the same time, you know, adjusting the ones where people continually glitch could be a start.

For Skyrace, at this level, it should be better to fix the fence. It shouldn't take too long to replace the fence by a wall or something more solid or thick.

Just start banning people for it and the rest will fall in line. This is a pain to fix, as Robot says. The most efficient way would be for the actual weapon to trace backward towards the turret to check whether there's an obstruction on the barrel.

I also note that we're banning people glitching with the tank in this fashion on Pieron's.

In Skyrais people are simply too much used to it, banning them won't solve anything and just make things worse (if that happens without a global warning). Easiest fix here would be to place anti-camp shock scorp, in which the blast from the shock is severely weakened if you camp (depends on your speed).

Of course banning will solve everything. People will stop doing it because they don't want to be banned. I don't much care for their feelings because it's such an obvious glitch.
