Loading screens
Support for per-map loading screens has been added. If you save a texture in myLevel as LoadingScreen (2048x1024, actual used area 1820x1024 with black bar at right, LODSET_Interface, DXT1 and no mipmaps please), it will be displayed as the map's loading screen. Please be aware that in order for a myLevel texture to be saved with the map, it must be referenced in the level; you'll need to apply the loading screen texture to a zone portal or similar hidden surface.
Take a screenshot with HUD elements hidden (togglescreenshotmode command) in 1820x1024, FOV 106.
Base PSD if you want to follow the format, which is similar to that of Jailbreak: http://ut2004.ldg-gaming.eu/azarael/LoadScreenBase.psd

Re: Loading screens
If you don't have Photoshop, provide a shot in 1820x1024 FOV 106 and I'll make the loading screen.

Re: Loading screens
whats the text size/type for Gametype, map name/author and player count? I figured out how to do it on gimp just want to make it look uniform to the described template. Oh and how much fade on each.

Re: Loading screens
I use Gimp, but was able to export it to a photoshop file. I reopened it in gimp and it had all the layers correct. Should work but.. never know..Calypto wrote:Requesting for access to the PSD.

Re: Loading screens
The layers came out fine, but the rasterization of text prevented me from being able to edit it. Thanks for trying at least.

Made my own PSD of the loading screen/

A link to the font used in the PSD (Photoshop should already have it included).
