It depends on how the game is programmed. If the game doesn't has an option to "go back" obviously, the back-gesture won't have any effect. There are however three gestures which always work (even within an Android game): minimising or closing an app and accessing the event screen. All of those are accessed by swiping from the screen's edges, i.e. there is little chance that you accidentally activate them while playing. And if you're running an Android app you, of course, get also the usual Android buttons on the bottom...

I change phones every 2-3 years. But the reason is not tht old one is broken but it usually bothers me. And there is smth new and cool in the shops.

Its like clothers. You won't wear 1 t-shirt for all your life.

Exactly. I have a gold, silver, and space grey iPhone each on a daily rotation. That way I don't get bored by the same color, it's always different.

I've had this current phone for ... 4 years? Maybe 5. I use it daily and can report no faults with it. It's not a smartphone.
“We humans do not understand compassion. In each moment of our lives, we betray it. Aye, we know of its worth, yet in knowing we then attach to it a value, we guard the giving of it, believing it must be earned. Compassion is priceless in the truest sense of the word. It must be given freely. In abundance.”

Not even lasting a year?

Guess it's pretty normal when you have a subpar device.
