Re: Crus
And on Pierons, there's always at least one moron to spawnkill with a hellebender... So if we start banning one, we should ban them all, which may be complicated.
Its all about the game, and how you play it
All about control, and if you can take it
All about your debt, and if you can payit
Its all about pain and whos gonna make it...

No no. It was not in the beginning of the map in the street. If I remember right it was already on 2nd floor. Obj where u need to stay near DVD. 1st with deemer, and 2nd with ion painter (i guess he gone to 1st obj for painer and shot def spawn, coz its on the "street").

Yes, it was the 3rd to last objective - placing the DVD into the television in the bedroom. This position is not the main point of defence, until other spawn points on Pieron's.

Re: Crus
Legit tactic to me. Def spawn is literally m's from the obj. Flawed map design rather than spawnkilling.
Also as bono says, you will start a slippery slope if you ban people for things like this on Pierons, a map which has close spawns and superweapons everywhere.
Another example could be, if someone was using the redeemer to clear defenders on Chaos obj 2/3. They spawn in the same place as the miniguns.

Re: Crus
I'm completely against the ban, well completely against spawnkilling with superweapons (that assumes there isn't tons of deemers on the map etc.). You can't really just spawnkill with superweapons without it being a genuine tactical move if you have one at the time.

Re: Crus
We always discipline players for spawnkilling on Pieron's, with the exception of the first 'street' objective, whether by Hellbenders or super weapons. These are poorly placed spawn points, true, but you set a dangerous precedence by allowing certain 'situations' for spawnkilling - it should never be tactical. This incident was a blatant attempt to completely wipe out the spawn - we have banned for such in the past with no debate. If a map cannot be played without 'tactically' spawnkilling to complete the objective, it should not be on the list.

Re: Crus
It would be knee-jerk to remove the map. Better to remove the problem items such as the ion painter, or redeemer.
Or simply have boxes block them once that relevant objective has expired, such as Socio does on gazoleen.
