Holding at objectives
I played a game of J-Vehicle Race recently during which 4 players of mixed team composition reached the final objective and did not complete it. What's the stance on this?

Re: Holding at objectives
It surely is irritating, but there's nothing you can (or should, talking adminwise) do apart from going through all the trouble of reaching the objective yourself.
If, however, it turns to be a "tower party" of sorts like that on DeathRace (or CrazyRace, cba to remember), and it is actively prohibiting other players to reach the objective, then it's more of a map issue.

Re: Holding at objectives
I find it annoying when anyone will sit at an objective. They can park their vehicle 1m from obj, and it kinda kills the game since you don't have any motivation to attack anymore since they'll just take it should you even come close.
I think the standard warn->kick should apply. Kicking would remove them from the objective, which should put the message across.

Re: Holding at objectives
For J-Vehicle Race, I've added a stopgap fix of a pain causing volume at the last objective.

Re: Holding at objectives
Too extreme, kinda unfair to kill someone who reaches final obj with low hp.

It's safe on J-Vehicle Race because before you enter the transition, you have a Toilet Car with full HP. If you enter the transition you must complete: if you don't you're vulnerable to air attack.

Re: Holding at objectives
This pertains to combat maps and not trial maps. The stance I take on trial maps is that you may hold unless you are requested by enough players to end.

Re: Holding at objectives
I usually cmdonplayer them on normal maps.
Yeah it annoys though (well as said above, with the exception of Blazing and maybe Aztec) but warn>kick maximally.
